Supplemental Feeding
Supplemental feedings are an important part of trophy fisheries management.
While bluegill certainly make up the forage base required for bass growth, additional forage fish and protein rich fish food can really help to pack on the pounds quickly. Largemouth bass require 10 pounds of food to gain 1 pound of weight. This is why it’s important to add supplemental feedings.
